The following datasets were collected during the participation of the Jacobs Robotics team in the 2008 NIST Response Robot Evaluation Exercise at Disaster City, Texas. The data sets are provided for free for academic and non-commercial use as long as proper credits are given.
Please note that the robot operated under conditions with high amounts of rubble and dust on slippery surfaces. This rendered odometry data quite useless; it has just been recorded for the sake of completeness.
Please follow the links for the different scenarios to access the 3D data:
- collapsed car parking
- dwelling (flooding disaster)
- house of pan cakes
- freight train
- maze
- forest 1 and forest 2 (“little red riding hood”)
Some of the scenarios have been mapped with 3D-Plane-SLAM, which can hence serve as a benchmark solution.
